PU Timing Belt Edge & Surface Grinding Machine is special deep-processing equipment for industrial polyurethane timing belts. It is available in split type (independent edge grinding machine and independent surface grinding machine) and integrated machine type (completing edge grinding and surface grinding in one pass). It is mainly applied to processing steel cord PU open belts and endless timing belts.

Processing Objectives:

Surface Grinding (Backside Sanding): Thin the back of timing belts, remove protrusions and unify thickness; perform pretreatment for back gluing, flocking and grooving.
Edge Grinding (Side Sanding): Remove burrs on both sides of cut belts, straighten side edges and eliminate sharp rough edges to ensure consistent width dimension.

Main Structural Components

Feeding Mechanism: Equipped with frequency conversion system and silicone pressure rollers (to avoid damaging PU belts), pneumatic compression prevents material deviation; capable of processing long open belts and endless loop belts.
Surface Grinding Unit: High-speed abrasive belt / grinding wheel set. The grinding depth can be finely adjusted via lead screw to precisely control the finished belt thickness.
Edge Grinding Unit: Supports single-side grinding to achieve straight belt sides.
Control System: PLC + touch screen with independent speed regulation for each station; equipped with emergency stop and dust-proof protective cover.
